Hampyeong Grand Chrysanthemum Festival
Having been annually held since the autumn of 2004, Hampyeong Grand Chrysanthemum Festival, aimed at offering abundant sighting spots and choices in Hampyeong throughout the seasons, provides visitors with a chance to observe various works made from chrysanthemum.
Fully savoring autumn ambience with eye-catching autumn insects, a variety of nostalgia-inducing experience programs are provided during the festival.
Various works made from chrysanthemum can be seen during the festival. An estimated 450 works made from real flowers, particularly chrysanthemum blooming with over 10, 100 to 300 or 500 petals in flowers planted with odd –numbers of stems, are also on display.
Besides this, there is the “Traditional Folklore Experience Center” which features traditional household items, such as large mortar, millstone and Korean A-frame carrier.
